It's time for the Annual Holiday Train sponsored by the Gurnee Park District, Canadian Pacific Railroad Co., and the Lake County Chamber of Commerce's Gurnee Chamber Affiliate. This exciting and wonderful event will benefit the Northern Illinois Food Bank, so please be generous with your food and financial contributions and surely many more people will be in need this winter and the coming year! For those who have never seen the Holiday Train, it's a truly spectacular evening. First, there's the hot food inside the Viking Park Warming House where you go after you drop off your non-perishables and donations and then everyone heads up the street to wait for the highly anticipated Canadian Pacific Train that's decorated with glistening and glowing and blinking holiday ornaments and lights. And then, when the train pulls up and the box car opens, there's live musical entertainment for everyone to enjoy! It's a truly fabulous time and all for a good cause too! So don't miss it. We'll see you there!
